Lauren Shibley is a Board-Certified Music Therapist and the Clinical Supervisor at Toneworks. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in both Music and in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the University of Minnesota. Lauren completed her music therapy coursework from the University of Minnesota and became board certified in 2019.
As a music therapist, Lauren provides music therapy sessions and adaptive lessons for individuals and groups and has experience with a wide variety of diagnoses. Lauren is passionate about creating a neurodiversity-affirming environment and values building strong, collaborative relationships with her clients and their support teams. In addition to her clinical work, Lauren supervises music therapy interns and provides mentorship to new music therapists as they begin their careers.
When not at work, Lauren enjoys reading books, bird watching, foraging, and hiking with her husband and two dogs.
