What is your background?
Before joining TLC, I worked as a CNA at a hospital in downtown Minneapolis. That role gave me a lot of experience in direct care and supporting people with different needs.
What is your role at TLC?
At TLC, I work with clients supporting them in their daily activities and helping them with behavior development and engagement. I love being a part of that progress and seeing the impact we can make day to day.
Why do you love working at TLC?
I enjoy working at TLC because it’s a kind and supportive environment where I can truly be myself. Everyone here cares about the work we do, and it feels good to be part of a team that’s making a difference.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Outside of work, I like spending time in nature, trying out new dessert recipes, and watching sitcoms. Cooking is something I enjoy… at least when I’m not burning the food (kidding, kind of (6f). You can usually catch me with a Starbucks in hand, too.
What is a fun fact about you?
I’m East African and bilingual-and I also have 8 siblings (yes, 8!).
